Shubh Navratri!

shubho kali

सर्वमङ्गलमाङ्गल्ये शिवे सर्वार्थसाधिके ।
शरण्ये त्र्यम्बके गौरि नारायणि नमोऽस्तु ते ॥

This is the first Mantra that my father me remember by my heart at the age of 3.
This is the only mantra that I know by my heart.
This is the only mantra that I need to cross the vast and mysterious dark ocean of ignorance and suffering.

May the dark and beautiful Goddess of fierceness and compassion bless us all!
Shubh Navratri!

      1. Navratri is the beginning of festivities in northern India after the Shradh ends. I have very fond memories of Navratris. I used to fast for all nine days when I was young (relatively).
